Lakesha Starks, RN

Lakesha became a Hope Care Center staff Team member in July of 2023 as the Director of Nursing.   She comes from a small town out of The Bootheel of Missouri called Caruthersville MO. There she began her nursing career at 19 years old as a CNA. She moved to the Kansas City Area in 2010 to surround herself around all necessary resources to pursue her dream to become a nurse. Lakesha’s dedication and devoted love for nursing has been her sole motivation to learn as much as she can to become the best nurse that she can be. She became an LPN in 2012 and in 2016 she gained her associate degree in nursing becoming an RN. Lakesha has over a decade of experience in direct nursing care ranging from geriatrics to hospital personnel to traveling nurse with a wide variety of assignments. She has almost two decades of experience in the healthcare industry and will spend the remainder of her life as Nurse Lakesha smiling while enjoying helping others.
