DeLoris Robinson, BSN, RN, ACRN
DeLoris joined Hope Care Center in November 2020. She is a member of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC). She also holds an ACRN (AIDS Certified Registered Nurse) credential that she uses to better serve the HIV residents at HCC. She has 11 years of direct nursing care experience, although her health care experience extends over 24 years, including medical billing and coding. She graduated as an LPN in 2010 and spent most of her nursing practice as a supervising nurse in behavioral health, substance abuse and addictions. She recently completed her Professional Nursing degree in 2020 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in October 2021. She found passion in speaking to and educating others on HIV/STD prevention 12 years ago and she brings that passion and knowledge to Hope Care Center. Her educational background also includes Hepatitis C Educator and Certified Wellness Coach. She is also a CPR/BLS Instructor for the American Red Cross. In August 2019, her article was published in a local health care magazine for her mission to bring attention to and end opioid abuse. In 2014, she was awarded LPN of the Year by the Greater Kansas City Black Nurses Association. DeLoris is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and plans to specialize in Public Health Nursing.
